As a Project Manager with a focus on the Public and Private Sectors, including; Healthcare, Education, Renewables, Commercial and Justice, you will be expected to work within a team to successfully support and deliver capital investment projects. This role involves providing client-side project management support during all stages of the project delivery lifecycle from option studies and development, design, procurement, and construction, including administration of the construction contract. Here’s what you’ll do: Development and delivery of business casesClient-side project management, including stakeholder, schedule, and contract managementOwnership of and responsibility for the successful delivery of your projectPreparing and maintaining programmes, including dependencies and resourcesIdentifying and monitoring project risks and opportunitiesQuality management processes for project activities and outputsManaging stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interestsEstablishing and maintaining project governance reviewsDeveloping and managing teamsManaging suppliersEnsure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on timeStrong relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional teamBusiness development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross- selling opportunities, are identified, and acted uponProvide leadership within project management business and provide leadership and mentoring to the teamManage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standardsCo-ordination and sign off on all management information produced If you’re passionate about innovation and turning bold ideas into reality, AECOM welcomes you. Qualifications Here’s what we’re looking for: Accredited NEC Project Manager.Ideally Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Quantity Surveying Degree.Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, APM or other equivalent institution; Prince 2 or MSP experience.
