We are currently working on behalf of a well-established gastro pub in Cambridge to recruit an experienced Head Chef to lead its kitchen team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, popular site with a strong reputation and a focus on high-quality, fresh food. The business is looking for a Head Chef who can build on its success, drive standards, and continue to develop the offering.

Package

• Salary up to £50,000

The Role

• Full responsibility for leading the kitchen operation
• Driving standards, consistency, and overall food quality
• Developing menus with a focus on fresh, seasonal produce
• Managing GP, costs, and kitchen performance
• Leading, motivating, and developing the kitchen team

The Candidate

• Proven experience as a Head Chef with strong leadership skills
• Background in quality fresh food gastro pubs or similar environments
• Commercially aware with strong cost control experience
• A confident leader with a hands-on approach
• Passionate about delivering high standards
