Role Description

We have a requirement for a Project Manager to lead, manage and support the delivery of production grade software and hardware development, integration and manufacture programmes – either directly into our customers, or as part of our own product development activities; Low to mid Technology Readiness Level (TRL) Science & Technology research programmes, ranging from studies and modelling through to software and hardware prototyping.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience delivering projects or programmes covering one or more of software, hardware or digital transformation.
  • APM Competency Framework Project Manager (Master) and Project Manager (Advanced) levels, to scope and deliver our largest and most complex commitments.
  • Experience with a process‑driven organisation and proficiency in Agile methodologies.
  • Accountable for budget, performance and results of the project, and responsibility for ensuring that necessary procedures are followed and governance applied.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholders, and ability to adapt plans to address emerging operational challenges.
  • Previous experience delivering to Defence customers, and/or into NATO, Middle Eastern and Asia‑Pacific geographies is desirable.
