We are currently recruiting for an experienced Delivery Manager to support a Central Government client delivering critical digital and technology services.
This role requires a strong background in Agile delivery within government environments, with demonstrable experience working to Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.
Candidates must hold or be eligible forSC clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital services in line with GDS standards and government service assessments.
- Manage multidisciplinary Agile teams, ensuring effective collaboration across delivery, technical, and policy stakeholders.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure delivery remains on track.
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders across government, acting as a trusted delivery lead.
- Ensure services meet user needs, accessibility standards, and government service design principles.
- Provide transparent reporting on delivery progress, risks, and financial performance.
- Support continuous improvement across delivery practices and team capability.
- Demonstrable experience delivering digital services within Central Government departments.
- Strong working knowledge of GDS standards, service lifecycle phases (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live), and service assessments.
- Active SC clearance (beneficial).
- Proven experience leading Agile teams using Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to operate effectively in complex government environments.
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.
- Understanding of scaled Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe, LeSS).
