Equans are looking for a Regional Manager to join our team in London. This is a permanent, full‑time role, working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and a benefits package.

Working on our largest contract, HMCTS, the Regional Manager will have responsibility for TFS provision across one of the eight regions in the portfolio. They will have three direct reports in the form of three Area Facilities Managers (delivering both Hard & Soft Services) and a wider team of almost 300 people delivering the services to the local client. The post holder will work closely with a variety of support services such as Helpdesk, Finance, SHEQ and HR.

This role plays a critical part in directing the regional operational and technical teams, ensuring smooth and contractually compliant delivery to the HMCTS client and their end users. The Regional Manager will lead the management interface with the client and be responsible for ensuring the region meets KPI expectations.

With operational delivery of 26 contract KPIs, we are looking for an individual who is used to meeting SLAs, has prior experience of P+L responsibility (between £3m‑£10m), stakeholder management, excellent communication, strong negotiating skills and previous experience in performance management.

The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated, driven individual able to add expertise and leadership to the team. They will have demonstrable experience managing complex and high‑volume operational contract deliverables and the ability to respond flexibly and efficiently to changing business needs. They will establish good working relationships with both client and team members and be able to deal with multiple competing priorities without compromising service delivery, including business‑critical events.

Previous contract management or account management experience is essential. Mobilisation and hand‑back experience would be desirable.

What will you deliver?

  • Develop and maintain a healthy business relationship with the client, promoting EQUANS Business capabilities, building trust and maximising growth opportunities
  • Develop and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships to work effectively in a high‑pressure environment
  • Build and direct operational teams to ensure services are delivered and adequately supported in the most efficient and effective manner, ensuring all contractual KPIs, SLAs and deliverables are achieved, taking positive steps to address challenges as appropriate
  • Own, prepare and submit all MI, reports and risk registers to the customer and business as required
  • Ensure all operational, safety, people and financial targets and forecasts are achieved across the contract and, where necessary, develop detailed recovery plans to address underperformance
  • Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and policies to economise service delivery across the contract while increasing productivity
  • Promote a safety‑first culture, always ensuring statutory compliance of the contract and the safe working of all EQUANS employees and contractors on the contract
  • Ensure all elements of employment procedures and processes, including disciplinary & grievance, attendance management and performance management are adhered to in accordance with company policies
  • Be responsible for employee development, succession planning, employee empowerment and talent management across teams, including support for talent pipelines (e.g., apprenticeships and leadership development)
  • Manage all non‑conformances (NCRs) across the contract
  • Support the development and implementation of the Responsible Business plan for the contract
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the performance of the team and contract
