About The Organisation
Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is now a unified national organisation formed by the merger of NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) and NHS Education for Scotland (NES). PSL supports a range of NHS services through education, training, data analytics, procurement and logistics, including blood, tissue and cell services.
The Post
Marketing and Communications team – 12 month fixed‑term / secondment, based at Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow. Hybrid working, Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week. Must be a resident and have entitlement to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Lead on the development and implementation of structured marketing communication strategies and plans to deliver communication objectives across NHS Scotland.
- Apply the full marketing and communications mix to drive behaviour change across a range of projects.
- Manage media relations, digital communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Work confidently under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
- Possibly oversee line management responsibilities in the Marketing and Communications function.
Qualifications
- Excellent communications skills, media relations, digital communications and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work confidently under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
- People‑management capabilities if line‑management responsibilities are implied.
Location and Working Pattern
This post can be based at Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow. Currently hybrid working. Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week. Must live and remain a resident within the UK and have entitlement to work in the UK.
