Security Officer – 24/7 Patrols with Shift Allowance

St Helens Borough Council is recruiting a Security Officer to patrol council sites, respond to intruder, fire or panic alarms, carry out keyholding duties and support courier tasks across departments. The role includes opening/closing premises, static posts at Crematorium and Newton Cemetery, and coverage for the Security Co-ordinator when requested.

You will join a 37-hour week rota across 24/7 coverage, with an uplift for shift and weekend work and a commitment to high professional standards
