What you’ll be doing
- Create and implement temporary electrical building services design solutions
- Ensure integration, technical assurance, compliance, health, safety and sustainability of design and engineering to enable compliant defect free handover
- Coordination with Principle designer and Principle Contractor ensuring regular flow of information to comply with requirements of CDM
- Providing design solutions for distribution, lighting, sockets, plant and equipment supplies along with fire alarm & detection systems
- Support Design Managers with design/construction reviews and sign off
Who we’re looking for
As an Electrical Engineer, you will have experience working on large‑scale electrical engineering construction projects such as power generation, water treatment, energy infrastructure, or nuclear decommissioning.
- Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent training and suitable experience
- Relevant Professional accreditation is highly advantageous
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
- Experience and knowledge of Electrical Safe Systems of Workli>
- Ability to promote innovation and continuous improvement in design
- Detailed knowledge of codes of practice, in particular designer duties and responsibilities under CDM and other regulatory requirements
