Position: Project Engineer – Wind

Location: Bodmin, Cornwall (UK-wide travel required)

Salary: £24,000 – £30,000

Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity

A leading UK renewable energy developer is looking for a Project Engineer to support onshore wind farm projects across development, construction, and operational phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce wind farm layouts, access designs, and technical drawings
• Support cost estimation and identify design efficiencies
• Assist project delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Identify risks and ensure project feasibility
• Coordinate third-party consultants and provide technical input

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD and vehicle tracking software
• Basic knowledge of onshore wind projects
• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
• Awareness of CDM regulations
• Willingness to travel across the UK

Desirable

• Experience with Civil 3D/InfraWorks
• Knowledge of BoP/TSA contracts
• Surveying or setting out experience
