Traffic Design Engineer – Highways/Design/Traffic

We are currently recruiting for experienced Highways Design Engineers with experience in Traffic, Highways and Road Safety to join a client working in Central and SE London. (TFL contract)

We have 3 roles available with immediate starts.

40-50 hours per week.

Your main duties include designing a range of traffic, highways and transportation schemes across the area as well as delivering road safety, traffic management and cycling projects.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £30 – £35 per hour – negotiable for the right individual. Flexible working is available.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing a range of highways, traffic and transport schemes
• Overseeing road safety and cycling projects
• Using CAD to design public realm improvements, healthy streets and urban regeneration programme of works
• Assisting with consultation, team leading and bidding

Requirements

• Previous experience in Highways and Transportation is imperative for this role
