Responsibilities
- Oversee the provision of high‑quality services, meeting performance objectives and maintaining financial balance.
- Lead the development and delivery of quality improvement projects and transformation initiatives to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Resolve day‑to‑day operational problems independently with a solution‑focused approach.
- Communicate confidently with teams, ensuring excellent organisational, verbal and written skills.
- Manage confidential, complex and sensitive information with discretion and uphold professional, ethical standards.
- Provide exemplary leadership and line management to Team Leaders and Clinical Leads within the NMHT, supporting their skill and confidence development.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree/diploma level with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Clinical or postgraduate management qualification or equivalent level of leadership experience and proven ability to perform at this level.
- Experience of and demonstrable achievement in managing/leading health/social care services.
- Proven management of resources, change management, efficiency savings and financial recovery plans.
- Experience of modernising services without additional resources.
- Experience of developing and maintaining effective partnerships with stakeholders in service redesign.
- Experience of project management and imaginative planning.
- Experience of managing/leading a diverse practitioner team.
- Demonstrated ability to involve and motivate staff to improve performance.
