Business Development Manager

Aviation Media & Events

London (4 days per week in office)

£40,000 basic | £52,000 OTE (uncapped)

At BMS, we’ve been engaged to recruit a Business Development Manager for a leading aviation media portfolio. This is a new business and account development role within a well-established, international events business.

The Role

  • Sell exhibition space, sponsorship, and media solutions to aviation and technology companies.
  • Manage a mix of new business (70%) and existing accounts (30%).
  • Engage senior stakeholders including Marketing Directors and CCOs.
  • Deal sizes £5K-£15K, with short 2-4 week sales cycles.
  • High activity role with 30-50 calls per day and strong pipeline ownership.

The Candidate

  • 3+ years in events, exhibitions, or media sales.
  • Confident, organised, and proactive with strong outbound skills.
  • Comfortable managing pipeline via CRM and working in a fast-paced environment.

The Package

  • Basic Salary: £40,000
  • OTE: £52,000+ (uncapped)
  • Benefits: Pension, mobile, laptop
  • Holidays: 25 days
  • Working Pattern: 4 days per week in London office
