Lawrence Harvey are partnered with a world-class, cloud-native Financial Technology firm that are building next-generation infrastructure for tier-1 financial institutions globally. This is a high-growth, critical environment where you will genuinely be working alongside some of the most complex, accredited and skilled engineers in the industry.

You’ll be joining their Defensive Security function to help secure one of the most advanced platforms in the market. This is an incredibly hands-on engineering role which will allow you to secure multi-cloud environments across Azure AWS & GCP, protecting Kubernetes-based platforms and containerised workloads, and embedding security across CI/CD, IaC & distributed microservices architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing security controls across multi-cloud environments
  • Securing Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads at scale
  • Build and maintain security within CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, IaC, automated controls)
  • Implement runtime security, network policies, and workload isolation
  • Partner with engineering teams to embed security into the SDLC
  • Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and incident response planning
  • Drive DevSecOps best practices across platform and product teams
  • Secure high-throughput, real-time payment systems with strict compliance requirements

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering (Preferably Azure/AWS)
  • You have worked in a high-ticket environment, preferably within the Financial Services space
  • Deep understanding of container environments and Linux systems
  • A deep engineering proficiency in Goland/Kubernetes operation development
  • Application-level security considerations, holding a true “full-stack” security perspective across different archtiecture environments
  • Deep knowledge of the wider CI/CD ecosystem (GitHub hardening, organisational controls, defence-in-depth approaches)
