We are working with an incredibly successful family office, helping them secure a Business Manager. This will work within a lean, high-calibre team and have direct interaction with the principal.
This is a broad, high-exposure role sitting across finance, investment support, portfolio oversight and strategic planning. The successful candidate will act as the Principal’s go-to person for financial queries, analysis and decision support. With bookkeeping resource already in place, the finance element will centre on cash flow, liquidity and banking relationships. The role will also work alongside the investment team on scenario modelling, due diligence and analysis of prospective investments and asset purchases, helping assess opportunities and provide clear insight on portfolio exposure and wider strategic considerations. It will also liaise with external advisers on tax-related matters.
The role requires a commercially minded finance professional with strong judgement, financial literacy and the confidence to operate in a highly visible, fluid environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders are essential. Family office and HNW exposure would be highly desirable, as would a CFA or ACA (or equivalent) qualification.
The firm have a strong culture, with low turnover and operates a hybrid working model (1-2 days in the office). They will offer a strong base / bonus dependent on candidate’s experience.
