We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Production Manager with a strong background in technical events production and exhibition stand design/build, to work across our growing portfolio of multi-faceted regional, national and international events.
The ideal candidate will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of live corporate events and exhibitions, ensuring high-quality delivery from concept to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of fabrication, spatial design, logistics, and on-site production management.
You will be the key point of contact for the clients, responsible for leading and bringing events and projects to life from initial conception to final delivery.
You will cost, develop, schedule, organise, implement and manage all aspects of the projects and events, with the aim of exceeding client expectations and ensuring our contractual obligations are delivered on-time and within budget.
You will need a hands‑on, yet strategic approach; be able to multi‑task with conflicting priorities and demonstrate authority, industry knowledge and confidence in your planning and decision making.
Key skills, experience & requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience in a Production Management role, ideally with experience in exhibitions, conferences and/or activations.
- Excellent budget management and tracking, ensuring quotes are completed accurately, through to reconciliation.
- Understanding of events AV needs, power/connectivity requirements; construction methods/materials for exhibitions, stage sets and activations.
- Ability to interpret floor plans and build packs.
- Exceptional organisational, scheduling, time and delivery/implementation skills.
- Results and sales focused with an ability to effectively communicate and up‑sell with an array of messages to a range of stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to other areas of the UK/ abroad if necessary and work flexibly as projects require to carry out site or supplier visits and project delivery.
