The Opportunity
A well-established and growing law firm in Manchester is looking to recruit a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join its busy litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with experience in civil litigation and RTA matters who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive firm.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of civil litigation matters, with a strong focus on Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims, handling files from initial instruction through to settlement or litigation where required. The role offers exposure to a varied workload and the chance to work within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of RTA and civil litigation claims
- Handling matters through the MOJ Portal where applicable
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Negotiating settlements with insurers and third parties
- Providing clear legal advice and maintaining strong client relationships
- Progressing cases efficiently while maintaining compliance and quality standards’
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with experience in civil litigation
- Experience handling RTA claims
- Familiarity with the MOJ Portal
- Strong organisational and case management skills
- Excellent client care and communication abilities
