General Service Operative – TATA Steel

Shotton, Deeside | £13.65 per hour + Overtime Premiums | Monday – Friday 8:00‑16:00 (39 hours per week) | Temp to Perm Opportunity | Onsite role

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a General Service Operative to join TATA Steel at its Shotton site in Deeside. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global leader in steel production, with ongoing full‑time work and great career potential.

Key Duties

• Drive a small skip wagon onsite.
• Drive and operate a gully sucker wagon, picking up skips and emptying them.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Support production areas as and when required.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
• Pre‑start drug and alcohol test required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Previous experience driving wagons is an advantage but not essential; full onsite training and support will be provided.
