About the role
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead a warm, friendly home where children and young people feel safe, supported, and valued.
- Ensure full compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and deliver consistently high quality care.
- Inspire, guide, and develop a motivated staff team through strong leadership and reflective practice.
- Manage budgets, resources, and the home environment to a high standard.
- Safeguard young people and work closely with families, professionals, and external agencies.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure the home’s Statement of Purpose is fully embedded in daily practice.

What we’re looking for
- Extensive experience in children’s residential care management.
- Strong understanding of legislation, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma for the Children’s and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).
- QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Children’s Services, or willingness to complete this as part of the role.
