- Source and onboard a mix of established and emerging brands, with a focus on innovation and authenticity.
- Build and manage strong brand partnerships, leading senior‑level negotiations across pricing, exclusivity, and commercial terms.
- Identify and secure exclusive launches and best‑in‑class brands.
- Own category performance, including forecasting, OTB, margin, and trading decisions.
- Analyse weekly and seasonal performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Partner cross‑functionally (Merchandising, Marketing, VM, Digital, Retail) to deliver best‑in‑class execution.
- Lead range reviews, SKU optimisation, and seasonal buying strategies.
- Drive impactful 360 campaigns, launches, and in‑store experiences.
- Stay ahead of trends, ensuring Liberty remains a market leader in luxury beauty.
- Lead and develop the buying team, creating a clear path for progression.
About You:
- 4–8+ years’ experience in beauty buying (luxury, premium, or niche).
- Strong omnichannel experience (store + eCommerce).
- A sharp eye for product, brand, and storytelling.
- Proven success in driving sales growth and margin improvement.
- Confidence in senior‑level negotiations and relationship management.
- Deep understanding of beauty trends, ingredients, and consumer behaviour.
- Experience across both heritage and indie/startup brands.
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU cosmetics regulations and compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and project management skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across functions.
- Leadership experience with a passion for developing teams.
Why Join Liberty?
You’ll play a key role in shaping one of the most iconic and innovative beauty destinations in the world, working at the intersection of creativity, commerce, and culture.
