Job Overview
The post is based at Kettering General Hospital, although cross‑site working is encouraged as part of University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN). This is a replacement post with a sub‑specialty interest in cardiothoracic imaging. The post holder will join an established cohesive team of radiologists supporting clinicians and delivering acute and elective imaging in both specialist areas and general radiology.
Responsibilities
- Support emergency radiology services.
- Reporting on cancer imaging.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Cover ultrasound (if appropriate), CT and MR sessions during the working week.
- Supervise and report on cardiac CT and cardiac MRI.
- Lead cardiac imaging MDT sessions.
- Vet reports, manage duty cycles (hot reporting, CT/MRI and emergency service) and be on call.
Working Arrangements
- Based at Kettering General Hospital with cross‑site work across UHN.
- Flexible duty schedule covering CT, MRI, ultrasound and emergency reporting.
