Salary Information

Pay: Circa £40,000 – £50,000 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You

As a Project Manager in Central Functions, you’ll work collaboratively with other change professionals to realise business benefits through the delivery of strategic projects in our portfolio, covering Finance, People and Culture, Compliance, Risk, etc. You’ll have an agile mindset and ensure delivery is value‑and‑outcome based, aligned to the programme vision. You’ll be passionate about change and want to make a difference.

Essential Skills

  • Experience within project and change delivery, having delivered a variety of projects of different types and sizes using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of business change management and implementing people, process and systems change.
  • Forward‑thinking, with experience in planning and forecasting and the ability to understand and manage risk proactively.
  • Demonstrative experience of problem solving and removing impediments.
  • Excellent communication skills, coupled with exemplary stakeholder management, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A growth mindset with process‑improvement ability, focused on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage a budget, including forecasting and estimating.
  • Experience of managing suppliers.
  • Understanding of IT systems development lifecycle.

Desirable Skills

  • Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage.
  • Project, Agile or Business Change Management qualifications would be an advantage but not essential (e.g. APM – PMQ, Scrum / SAFE, PROSCI).
  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience within Insurance/Financial services would be beneficial but not essential.
