Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse – Coronary Care Unit (3A CCU) at St Bartholomew’s Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care to cardiology patients in a fast‑paced acute environment.
• Act as a role model, demonstrating advanced practice and supporting junior colleagues.
• Contribute to the effective running of the unit, supporting the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse with clinical and operational duties.
• Participate in service improvement and quality initiatives.
• Support staff development through mentoring, supervision and teaching.
• Ensure adherence to trust policies, professional standards and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse with substantial cardiology experience.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and strong decision‑making skills.
• Commitment to high‑quality, safe and compassionate care.
