Overview

A leading UK M&E contractor with a strong track record delivering complex, high-value commercial developments is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Project Manager to take a key leadership role on a major project in Central London.

This opportunity is to join a £40m MEP commercial scheme that has recently gone to site and has approximately two years remaining. The role offers the chance to lead the electrical package on a flagship development, working alongside a strong delivery team through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the electrical package on a large-scale commercial project in Central London.
  • Take full responsibility for project delivery, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
  • Oversee programme management including installation, commissioning, and handover phases.
  • Work closely with the client, consultants, and commercial teams to manage variations, cost control, and programme milestones.
  • Provide strong leadership on site, driving performance, productivity, and team engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
  • Monitor progress and report regularly to senior stakeholders on project performance.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Project Manager within an M&E / Building Services contractor.
  • Strong background delivering commercial, healthcare, Data Centres or Pharmaceutical projects (experience on large-scale London schemes highly desirable).
  • Demonstrable experience managing electrical packages on projects typically £10m+ in value.
  • Strong understanding of programme management, commissioning, and project delivery lifecycle.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to manage costs, variations, and subcontractor performance.
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, live site environment.

Package

  • £90,000 – £100,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
  • Travel Expenses
  • 27 days annual leave + bank holidays
