An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy, playing a key role in delivering high-quality civil infrastructure solutions across major projects, including work within the nuclear and defence sectors.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Take technical responsibility for the delivery of civil infrastructure design packages from concept through to detailed design
- Coordinate and guide small design teams, contributing to multidisciplinary project delivery
- Produce, check and approve engineering calculations, drawings and digital models
- Review third-party and subcontractor design outputs to ensure technical compliance and quality
- Provide technical input into bids, fee proposals and project documentation while offering mentorship to junior staff
You will have the following qualifications and experience
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, with Chartered or near-Chartered status through ICE or a similar institution
- Proven experience in drainage, earthworks, SUDS, pavements and utility design for UK projects
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD within a design consultancy environment
- Sound understanding of UK standards and approvals processes, including S38, S278 and S104
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance to work on sensitive nuclear or defence-related projects
