We are seeking an experienced Pre‑Construction Manager with a strong background in industrial and distribution projects, to join our team within the HQ in Gerrards Cross.
This role will focus on the early‑stage planning and development of logistics hubs, warehouses, and large‑scale industrial schemes, ensuring projects are commercially robust, technically efficient, and ready for seamless delivery.
As a key member of the Bid & Pre‑Construction Management team, you will shape schemes from concept through to construction, working closely with clients, developers and design teams to deliver best‑in‑class industrial and distribution facilities. You will collaborate with estimators, QHSE, technical, planning controls and MEP colleagues on fast‑paced building tenders.
Client‑facing with a real eye for detail is essential, as it is key throughout the bidding and tender stage. You will also apply these skills on site for a period of 4–6 weeks if required before handing over to the Project Director. A strong sense of ownership over tasks, people and clients is vital.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working on high‑bay warehouses, automated distribution centres or last‑mile logistics facilities
- Knowledge of sustainability standards (e.g. BREEAM) and energy‑efficient building solutions
- Familiarity with UK industrial development trends and logistics operator requirements
