Job Title: Senior Project Manager – ASTI Energy Programme

Balfour Beatty is a delivery partner on the Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) programme – one of the most significant energy infrastructure programmes in Scotland. We are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager (Buildings) to support delivery across key ASTI hubs, including Peterhead (Netherton) and associated project locations. This is a long‑term opportunity to work within a multi‑year energy programme, offering scope, complexity and real career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery within the ASTI programme across buildings and enabling works
- Manage complex interfaces with civils, energy and supply‑chain partners
- Own programme, cost, quality, safety and risk at project level
- Lead multi‑disciplinary site and project teams
- Maintain strong client relationships within a regulated energy environment
Qualifications
- Strong experience delivering complex construction projects
- Comfortable operating in multi‑project / programme environments
- Proven leadership, commercial awareness and stakeholder management
- Background in buildings, infrastructure, energy or regulated environments
