DevOps Engineer

Salary: £60,000 – 80,000 per year

Requirements

• Strong hands-on Terraform experience (Infrastructure as Code)
• Solid Kubernetes experience, including cluster management and orchestration
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure public cloud
• CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps or similar)
• Experience working in Linux/Windows environments and with Bash/PowerShell scripting
• 3+ years in a dedicated DevOps or platform engineering role

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes
• Work closely with development and operations teams
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, IaC configuration, and cloud services
• Mentor engineers
• Contribute to the teams technical direction

Overview

We are a growing European technology business working on secure, mission-critical infrastructure used in real-world communications environments. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced DevOps engineer to join our collaborative Agile team in Reading on a hybrid basis, with 3 days on-site. Youll own infrastructure as code from the ground up, work with modern cloud tooling, and have real ownership and direct impact on our platform. The role offers a salary of £60-80k.
