Ealing Council have an exciting new opportunity as Delivery Manager available on a full time basis. To help us achieve this, we have created a new Innovation and Service Development team within Children’s Services, and are looking to recruit two Delivery Managers to drive change across our directorate.

Delivery Manager Responsibilities

  • Mobilise and deliver change, with a focus on service improvement, efficiencies and demand management, service design and innovation.
  • Manage key transformation projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring effective governance, quality assurance, and risk management.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the council – including senior officers and elected members – collaborating to find solutions to Children’s Service challenges.
  • Apply your problem‑solving skills to tackle strategic priorities within a fast‑paced environment.

Ideal Delivery Manager Profile

  • Experience of successfully managing change projects, ideally within local government or a similar sector.
  • Sound knowledge of programme and project management methodology.

  • A good understanding of the variety of local government services delivered to children and young people and the current issues and challenges regarding reform and transformation in this area.
