Are you a talented Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive seeking a new challenge with a highly respected and forward‑thinking law firm? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a successful and collaborative Private Client team in Stamford, working on high‑value and complex matters.

About the Role

You will manage a diverse and stimulating caseload, including:

• Complex estate administration involving taxable estates, agricultural and business assets
• Succession planning, inheritance tax advice and mental capacity issues
• Drafting deeds of variation, declarations of trust and other key legal documents
• Advising high‑net‑worth individuals, elderly and vulnerable clients and their families
• Handling Court of Protection matters and supporting clients with long‑term care planning

This role offers exposure across the full spectrum of private client work, with opportunities to develop your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage your own caseload with strong financial oversight
• Supervise, mentor and support junior team members
• Conduct client meetings (in‑person and remote) and provide clear, empathetic advice
• Draft high‑quality legal documents and correspondence
• Stay up to date with legal developments and best practice
• Participate in business development and client relationship initiatives

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 2+ years PQE in private client law
• Strong experience in estate administration and working with vulnerable clients
• Excellent communication, drafting and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, team‑oriented approach with a commitment to continuous learning
