Pre-Construction Coordinator
Location: Office-based with regular site visits (primarily London)

We’re looking for a proactive and organised Pre-Construction Coordinator to join a growing team delivering high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in estimating, quantity surveying, or pre-construction who wants to develop their technical, commercial, and client-facing skills within a collaborative environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the pre-construction process from initial enquiry through to project handover, working alongside experienced professionals and building the skills needed to progress into a Pre-Construction Manager role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing cost plans and estimates using standard templates.
- Carrying out site surveys and quantity take-offs.
- Coordinating subcontractor enquiries and reviewing quotations.
- Assisting with feasibility studies, buildability reviews, and project risk assessments.
- Preparing license approval documentation and coordinating stakeholder submissions.
- Developing and maintaining pre-construction programmes.
- Supporting client presentations and tender submissions.
- Coordinating project handovers to delivery teams.
- Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a pre-construction, estimating, or quantity surveying role within construction or commercial fit-out.
- Ability to produce cost plans and complete quantity take-offs.
- Understanding of construction methods and commercial interiors.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Bluebeam Revu or Microsoft Project is advantageous.
Desirable
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with JCT contracts.
- Knowledge of landlord approval and license processes.
