Forklift Driver

Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklift equipment to move, load, and store goods within a warehouse environment, ensuring efficient stock handling and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift trucks (e.g. counterbalance, reach) safely and in line with regulations
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles
• Transport materials to and from storage areas
• Stack and organise pallets in designated locations
• Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues
• Support general warehouse duties when required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid forklift licence (e.g. Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck)
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting preferred
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills
• Physically capable of manual handling tasks

Shift: Monday – Friday 6am – 3pm 

Pay: £12.80ph rishing to £13.20 at the beginning of April (weekly pay)
