QC Analyst

About the role
Responsible for supporting day‑to‑day QC laboratory operations by executing analytical and quality system activities in line with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Reckitt quality standards. Delivers accurate and timely results to support consumer quality and customer service, working with minimal supervision while maintaining full accountability for the quality and compliance of work performed.
QC Analyst – FTC 12 Months
Your responsibilities
- Perform quality control testing of laboratory batches, ensuring accuracy and compliance with cGMP and GLP standards.
- Manage and prioritise daily workload to meet stakeholder and customer service requirements.
- Maintain accurate, inspection‑ready documentation and records in line with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain high standards of laboratory housekeeping and safe working practices.
- Support regulatory inspections and ensure QC activities consistently meet compliance standards.
- Operate, maintain, and support calibration/qualification of laboratory equipment, including maintaining related SOPs and documentation.
- Monitor performance metrics and deliver work aligned with QC KPIs and operational targets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of wider QC operations.
- Communicate issues effectively with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Take ownership of personal training and development, maintaining compliance with required training and supporting team capability as needed.
The experience we’re looking for
- Degree qualification or equivalent relevant experience in a related discipline.
- Demonstrated capability in delivering core QC laboratory activities.
- Transferable skills relevant to quality control testing and laboratory operations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multi‑level team environment.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly.
- Good IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Chromeleon and SAP is advantageous.
