Job description Forklift Operative/Warehouse | Newtownards | £ (Days)Staffline Ireland is currently seeking a dayshift forklift/warehouse operative to join our client, a leading dairy manufacturer, on an initial temporary basis at their site in Newtownards. Role:Reporting to the Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for the movement of goods withing a busy distribution warehouse.Duties:Forklift Driving.Shunting duties (once trained)Loading of products onto variousPreparing orders for despatch.Checking products for defects.Reporting breakdowns, spillages, quality control issues.Criteria:Valid counterbalance forklift licence.Full driving licence (required for shunter training)Previous experience working nightshift positions preferred. Previous warehouse/production experience preferred.Hours of work:Earlies 6am – 2pmLates 2pm – 10pmShifts rotate weekly between earlies and latesRate of pay:£ per hourOvertime paid after 37 hours.Additional £ for every hour shunting (when trained)Further shift premium added in recognition of working late shifts…
