Role Description
This is not a “post on social and send a few emails” role. You’ll sit at the centre of our campaigns helping drive registrations, engagement, and revenue across events, memberships, and partnerships.
You’ll be executing across email, social, CRM, and content but also thinking about what’s working, what’s not, and how to improve it.

What You’ll Be Doing
Campaign Execution
- Build and send email campaigns (webinars, events, awards, membership)
- Support full campaign rollouts across email, social, and landing pages
- Help optimise performance across the funnel (click → sign-up → attend)
CRM & Data
- Manage lists, segmentation, and sends in CRM
- Maintain clean, structured data
- Support campaign tracking using UTMs and basic attribution
Content & Social
- Create social posts and visual assets (primarily LinkedIn)
- Build slides and supporting content for events and campaigns
- Maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints
Events
- Support promotion of:
- Webinars (GENCFO Talks)
- In-person events (GENCFO Meet, Live, Awards)
- Assist with pre, during, and post-event communications
- Attend and support events when needed
Reporting & Optimisation
- Track performance across campaigns (email, social, registrations and website)
- Identify what’s working (and what’s not)
- Suggest improvements
Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Content, and Product teams
- Coordinate with external partners (designers, sponsors, agencies)
- Feed insights back into campaign and product planning
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)
- Event registrations consistently hitting (and improving on) targets
- Strong email performance (opens are vanity, clicks + conversions matter)
- Clean, reliable CRM data and segmentation
- Campaigns delivered on time, without chasing
- You’re actively suggesting improvements, not just executing tasks
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years in a digital marketing role (B2B or events is a bonus)
- Experience with CRM platforms (Constant Contact, HubSpot, etc.)
- Strong writing skills – clear, sharp and personality
- A sharp eye for design, with confident use of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Comfortable working with Google Analytics and using data to guide performance and decision-making
- High attention to detail (you spot mistakes before they go live)
- Organised and able to manage multiple campaigns at once
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
