Background

We are an established health and safety consultancy based in Glasgow. We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Health and Safety Advisors for an ongoing renewables projects in the Chesterfield Area.

Role

These short-term contract roles will be site based for approximately 6 months + (MON – FRI 7.30 – 16.30). We require someone with experience, knowledge and skills in construction safety, preferably with renewables and / or utilities experience. £300 – 400 pd DOE.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities / qualifications:

  • A degree in a safety, construction or design related field (preferable)
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum
  • CSCS Professionally Qualified card
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (preferable)
  • Experienced in UK construction safety and / or renewables
  • Significant knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulations
  • Experience of working on site within a busy, customer focused environment
  • Able to engage with colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Develop strong working relationships
  • Pragmatic and can work independently
  • Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel as required
  • Member of IOSH and APS (preferable)
  • Musy have the right to work in the UK

Experience

  • Construction Health and Safety: Min 3 – 5 years (mandatory)
