Health & Safety Manager – Commercial Fit-Outs & Interior Construction
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance across commercial fit‑out and interior construction projects. This hands‑on role involves travelling between multiple sites, ensuring teams operate safely while delivering high‑quality interior environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health & safety policies across all projects.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation and industry best practices.
- Support project teams in safe work planning and incident investigation.
- Maintain accurate records and produce regular H&S reports for management.
- Travel between sites to oversee health and safety standards in real time.
Requirements
- Proven H&S experience in commercial fit‑out or interior construction.
- NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.
- Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Hands‑on approach and ability to influence site teams.
