Health & Safety Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a busy project team delivering high‑value commercial developments across London. This Health & Safety Manager role offers immediate exposure to complex, fast‑paced construction projects and the chance to make a real impact on site standards and culture from day one.
This is a 4‑month contract position, starting ASAP, working across multiple live commercial construction projects in London. You will operate within established project teams, liaising closely with site management, subcontractors and senior stakeholders to ensure health and safety standards are consistently met across all locations.
Responsibilities for Health & Safety Manager
- Oversee and manage health & safety compliance across multiple commercial projects
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments
- Support project teams with RAMS reviews and method statement approvals
- Investigate incidents, near misses and implement corrective actions
Requirements for Health & Safety Manager
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
- Proven experience managing H&S on commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of current UK health & safety legislation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple sites
