A leading civil engineering/utilities specialist is seeking a Health and Safety professional to join the business to support projects in Strensham. The position will be solely responsible for this one project and lead on all health & safety. The ideal candidate will have strong utility experience, be able to work autonomously, be an effective communicator, and be a proactive communicator.

The Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for:

• Driven and enthusiastic individual with a passion for health & safety
• Site-focused, carrying out audits and inspections across the project
• Able to work autonomously and manage their own diary and workload.
• Support the team to create a positive health & safety culture
• Lead on accident investigations and near misses to identify root causes and implement improvement plans.
• Promote Health & Safety initiatives
• Manage internal & external stakeholders

The Health & Safety Advisor will have:

• 3+ years of experience working in health & safety
• NEBOSH qualified
• Experience working in utilities would be preferred, but heavy civil engineering is considered
• Happy to be based on a single-site position and lead across health & safety
