Changing Lives through Education The Role: The Security Supervisor is responsible for leading the security shifts across GBS campus, to ensure the safety, security, wellbeing of staff, students and visitors. This role combines operational leadership with hands-on security duties, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, internal policies, and industry best practice. Lead, motivate, mentor and supervise a team of Security Officers, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and operational procedures. 

~ Oversee the daily deployment and provide supervision of security personnel across the campus, ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed. 

~ Assist Facilities Manager in all duties related to buildings, assets, staff, students, visitors security 

~ Monitor and operate security systems including CCTV (limited), Access Control, Fire and intruder alarms; Ensure completeness of scheduled security patrols and inspections, addressing hazards and breaches immediately. 

~ Data collection and preparation of the KPI Reports 

~ Maintain and if required update security Standard Operating Procedures and ensure all staff adhere to them. 

~ Oversee and audit key control systems, ensuring traceability and security. 

  Proven supervisory experience in a security or facilities management role. 

~ Proficiency in operating and monitoring security systems. 

~ SIA door supervisor licence. 

SIA CCTV licence. 

~ Knowledge of risk management and incident investigation best practice.
