Location: Droitwich

Salary: £48,500 per annum + OT

Shift rotation with an element of nights (1 out of 4 weeks)

Role

• Minimize production downtime by troubleshooting breakdowns and preventing reoccurrences.
• Work with electrical and mechanical drawings and documentation to undertake fault‑finding and modification of plant and equipment.
• Using a Maintenance Management System, carry out preventative/planned maintenance work.
• Help identify & support improvements to increase reliability of equipment and reduce recurring faults.
• Ensure that all company policies relating to EHS are followed.
• Maintain and enhance job knowledge through training.
• Required to perform electrical and mechanical work, including fabrication, welding and some small electrical installation work as required.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias.
• HNC or HND, or engineering apprenticeship with a minimum level 3 qualification, BTEC/NVQ/City and Guilds or equivalent.
• Competent in reading electrical & mechanical diagrams and fault‑finding control panels.
• Ability to pass medical assessments for working at height and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work proactively to a high standard, using own initiative as part of the shift patterns.
• Computer literate with basic office software experience.
• Resilient, resourceful with good judgement and decision‑making skills.

Shift Schedule

• Mornings: 6 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday.
• Afternoons: 1:45 pm to 10 pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 12:15 pm to 7:15 pm.
• Days: 8 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday & 8 am to 2 pm Friday.
• Nights: 10 pm to 6 am Sunday to Thursday (finishing Friday morning).
