Manufacturing Engineer – CNC / CAM (Aerospace)
Location: Craigavon, Northern Ireland
Salary: Up to £55,000 + benefits

Manufacturing Engineer Role
- Define full manufacturing process flow from raw material to finished part (goods-in, CNC machining, assembly, special processes).
- Create and optimise CNC programs using CAM (Mastercam strongly preferred).
- Work both offline and at the machine to prove out, optimise and troubleshoot programs.
- Produce clear work instructions and routings.
- Support NPI / new machining introductions and drive improvements in cycle time and process robustness.
- Work closely with machinists, quality and operations; specify tooling, fixtures and equipment.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in precision machining / manufacturing engineering.
- Strong CNC background, ideally moving from machinist to programmer / manufacturing engineer.
- Proven CAM experience (Mastercam highly desirable).
- Experience with 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centres.
- Comfortable with medium-large structural components (approx. 1 m to 5 m).
- Aerospace experience strongly preferred (or similar high‑integrity environment).
- Experience with aluminium; exposure to titanium / nickel alloys beneficial.
- Full Right to Work in the UK – no sponsorship available.
Desirable
- Experience in controlled inspection / working closely with quality.
- Familiarity with DMG, Hüller Hille / MCM / SMK or similar machine tools.
