Overview
We are currently looking for a Deputy Headteacher for a SEN School in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Teacher in the strategic and day-to-day leadership of the school
- Lead on the development and implementation of high-quality SEN teaching and learning practices
- Line manage and support teaching staff and middle leaders
- Drive school improvement initiatives and monitor their impact
- Ensure high standards of behaviour, inclusion, and safeguarding across the school
- Develop and oversee tailored curriculum pathways for pupils with diverse needs
- Deputise for the Head Teacher as required
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Substantial experience working in an SEN setting
- Proven leadership experience at Assistant Head or Deputy level
- Deep understanding of SEND pedagogy, statutory requirements, and EHCP processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive education and the ability to inspire staff and pupils
