About the Role

As an Onshore Wind Asset Manager you will oversee the operational, commercial and financial performance of renewable assets, ensuring alignment with the business plan and enhancing asset value.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractual compliance with all commercial agreements and stakeholder relationships.
  • Monitor and challenge operational performance and optimisation metrics in coordination with O&M, OEM and other teams.
  • Prepare and manage forecasts, budgets, variance reports and other financial and operational reporting.
  • Develop and manage processes and procedures for asset management.
  • Work with project teams during development stages to ensure successful transition to Commercial Operation Date (COD).
  • Facilitate collaboration across cross‑functional teams to resolve operational, financial, commercial or technical issues.
  • Interface with internal teams to optimise major repairs, capital investments and life extension options.
  • Deliver accurate and timely management reporting across the portfolio.
  • Maintain valuation models and processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform site audits and engage with landowner and community fund contacts.
  • Maintain data management systems and audit programmes.
  • Review monthly O&M reports and evaluate commercial availability and corresponding liquidated damages or bonus.
  • Manage compliance with insurance policies and other contracts.
  • Support the Development team in asset acquisitions or origination.

Qualifications

  • Preferably a university degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent experience in asset management of generation assets.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an energy company, advisory or investment group managing a portfolio of assets or sites.
  • Strong numeracy and data analytics skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and ability to coordinate with peers, management, cross‑functional groups, project stakeholders and third parties.
  • Willingness to learn and support others with a flexible, can‑do attitude.
  • Understanding of energy markets, policy, regulation and renewable generation specific applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Prior project management experience in energy projects and/or renewable financing.
  • Fast learner capable of quickly understanding technology performance expectations.
  • UK driving licence.
