Role & Contract
Full‑time (37.5 hours per week), 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Hybrid working available. Role can be based near London, Bristol, Plymouth, Leicester, Warrington, or Rosyth.
Role Overview
As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will support informed decision‑making across Corporate Services, partnering closely with leaders in IT, Cyber and Engineering to deliver accurate budgeting and forecasting. You will build relationships, influence cost owners, and bring clarity to complex financial information.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Prepare budgets and forecasts while engaging with key stakeholders across the business.
- Maintain a rolling forecast that supports forward planning and strategic insight.
- Review monthly actuals with cost centre owners to ensure accuracy and challenge variances.
- Build trusted working relationships through effective business partnering.
- Manage inter‑company assignee charges to ensure financial control.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Qualified or part‑qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
- Strong financial analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare and present complex financial information clearly.
- Confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
Security Clearance
Must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
