Site Engineer

Location: Aberdeen On Site

Salary: Competitive Day Rate (DOE)

We are currently working with a leading contractor delivering a major bulk earthworks scheme in Aberdeen. They are seeking Site Engineers and Section Engineers to join the project team on a long‑term basis. This 5‑year programme offers rare stability and the opportunity to be involved from early stages through to completion on a significant infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out accurate setting out for bulk earthworks operations
• Manage and complete site checklists and quality assurance documentation
• Support the project team with programme input, tracking and updates
• Ensure works are delivered in line with design specifications and tolerances
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and management to ensure smooth delivery

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on bulk earthworks projects
• Strong background in major infrastructure or civil engineering schemes
• Proficient in GPS setting‑out equipment
• Good understanding of QA processes and site documentation
• Ability to interpret drawings and work independently on site
