Role

  • Support the Business Reporting Partner in providing excellent site‑wide reporting by collecting and managing data that can be used to generate meaningful management information, reports and dashboards.
  • Work with key stakeholders site‑wide to enable data to be captured and reported on in a timely, accurate format that assists decision‑making and operational benefits.
  • Design and develop clear, accurate and reliable management information that allows analysis, insight and decision‑making to achieve key business objectives.
  • Drive reporting development as new commercial systems are rolled out, meeting daily operational needs and improving business intelligence.
  • Collaborate with the Business Reporting Partner and Systems and Business Information Accountant on data‑driven projects, enabling the Executive team and Board of Trustees to receive accurate, detailed information on a periodic basis.
  • Use mainstream technology such as Microsoft Power BI and SQL.
  • Monitor the quality and integrity of data captured and processed across the organisation, establishing and communicating clear standards.
  • Support documentation of in‑house databases/datasets (e.g., data dictionaries) to help users identify the right database, tables and fields for reporting and operational needs such as Gift Aid.

Requirements

  • Sound working knowledge and experience of SQL (CTEs, subqueries, joins) and advanced Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages and other desktop software.
  • Methodical thinker able to view data logically and holistically.
  • Strong collaborative skills, able to understand user needs, advise on solutions, manage expectations and build relationships at all levels.
  • Confident working on concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong project management, organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and evaluative skills.

Desirable

  • Relevant experience in a leisure, retail or hospitality environment.

Package

  • Permanent contract, 40 hours per week.
  • Salary: £30,750 – £32,725, depending on experience.
