Main duties of the job

• As a clinical leader, you will be involved in shaping and developing the service as the Trust undertakes a new build project.
• In November 2024 Ward 35 will move to the Kingsway Site in Derby; the ward will be based in a new purpose‑built hospital and renamed Dove Ward.
• You will contribute to the Trust’s vision of improving health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• MB/BS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Fully registered with GMC with licence.
• Approved clinician status.
• Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register for the speciality, or eligible for entry within six months of the interview date (including those applying via the portfolio pathway route).

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of the speciality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to meet duties under MHA and MCA.
• Ability to work in and lead a team.
• Experience in research and service provision.
