TEAM LEADER & GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVES – CHELMSFORD

UK LANDSCAPES LTD is looking for a Team Leader & Grounds Maintenance Operative based in Chelmsford. This is a mobile role covering multiple commercial sites across Essex and surrounding areas.

Key Details

• Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
• Location: Chelmsford, Essex (mobile)
• Closing Date: 31/08/2025

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial properties including retail parks, supermarkets, offices, schools, colleges, and public parks.
• Operate various hand‑held power tools such as petrol mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters.
• Plan and execute regular site visits, ensuring high customer service standards and client satisfaction.
• Use the company van and mobile Ipad for equipment and reporting.
• Perform vehicle checks and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a small team.
• Background in commercial grounds maintenance or landscaping.
• Proficient with hand‑held power tools.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
