Our client, a well-established Heating & Gas company based in Maidstone, is on the hunt for a Commercial Heating & Gas Engineer to join the team.
Founded in 1999, they have grown an outstanding reputation for the level of service and work they carry out. To achieve this, they have built a team who are passionate and driven to provide the very best experience for their clients and customers.
This role will see you working from time to time on projects in London. An average split of work would be 65% of projects outside of London and 35% of projects in London. As our client is commercial specialists you will be working on sites such as schools and care homes, which means an enhanced DBS is a necessity.
We are looking for an industry professional with a commercial background. Someone who can hit the ground running.
The role will report directly into the Lead Engineer and the Operations Manager on a daily basis. There is a strong managerial structure in place to provide clear guidance and advice. The MD has a hands-on approach to the daily running of the business and has clear 6, 12 and 18 month plans for the business.
What does the role entail?
- Installation of commercial gas systems and plant
- Service, maintenance, and fault finding on commercial gas systems
- Working across a range of commercial sites
- Ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards
- Delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service
What are we looking for?
- Valid Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or equivalent)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
