Business Development Manager

Invision recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a tier one Construction Main Contractor who are looking to recruit a BD Manager for their London and SE Region. We are looking for a career focused individual who can make a significant impact on securing landmark construction projects. As a BD Manager you will have a proven track record in the UK construction marketplace. Their focus is on specific sectors i.e. Residential, Commercial, Student Accommodation and Education. They are seeking a self‑motivated professional to join our team and drive growth in large‑scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities
• Generating suitable business opportunities in line with the business strategy
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UK construction sector
• Build and maintain strong client and key stakeholders’ relationships
• Develop winning strategies to secure contracts and expand our project portfolio
• Support the bid management process as required
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project delivery aligns with client expectations

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in business development within the UK construction industry
• Demonstrable background working for a Main Contractor in similar roles
• Proven experience and relationships with key Development organisations with an extensive network of contacts across varied sectors
• Strong understanding of bid management processes for large-scale construction projects
• Proven ability to win projects valued at £70 million or above.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach
